Over the course of several years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with AlterEgo, a creative content studio and production company. Throughout our extensive partnership, we successfully orchestrated the launch of four distinct websites, each presenting varying levels of complexity and technological innovation.
Our partnership began right before Content Management Systems, like WordPress, became popular. Their website evolved from a static HTML/JavaScript/CSS website to a WordPress CMS to a meticulously tailored custom PHP website. Today, AlterEgo boasts a cutting-edge digital presence, featuring a NextJS frontend, designed by their own Justin Kanner and developed by me, complemented by a robust Strapi backend.
AlterEgo, a collective of creative minds, needed a website that mirrored their artistic essence. While common components unify their pages, the layout, quantity, and dimensions of these elements are intricately unique to each page. Leveraging Strapi afforded us the capability to fully customize the content structure, enabling a distinct front end to seamlessly retrieve and showcase the tailored content through the API.
In response to AlterEgo’s longstanding utilization of Vimeo for video hosting, I developed a custom Strapi plugin. This innovative solution empowers AlterEgo to input a Vimeo identifier, triggering an automated import process that retrieves pertinent video details such as title, description, thumbnail images, and the video URL for seamless embedding into their website.
My collaboration with AlterEgo exemplifies a commitment to ingenuity, adaptability, and the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies. I look forward to bringing the same level of expertise and dedication to your project, ensuring a digital presence that reflects your unique vision and aspirations.
